Students must attend a minimum of 80% of classes, participate in weekly quizzes and score 70% or better on a 40-question Final Exam. Note - The IES FUNDAMENTALS OF LIGHTING ED-100 course is pass/fail. Your registration fee includes all course materials, which are electronic and will be emailed to you prior to the start of the course. ![]() Pre-registration is required and registration fees must be paid in advance. The in-person session will be taught in Denver with the final location to be determined. A recurring Zoom link will be sent out to registrants before the first session. Attendance with audio and video is required for online sessions. Tuesday and Thursday sessions will be taught virtually and the final Saturday session will be taught in-person for hands-on learning. She founded The International Landscape Lighting Institute, ILLI, a 501(C)(3) educational non-profit still providing landscape lighting education classes in the U.S. She began teaching in undergraduate school at Michigan State University, next at the University of Michigan, then at The Academy of Art, SF, UC Berkeley, Rutgers and the Lighting Research Center, among others. The third event is a showing of CODEBREAKER, a documentary on the life of Alan Turing. These speakers will be handing out prizes and CSUAC will also provide free pizza. CSUAC will be handing out t-shirts and will host two talks, one by the makers of Sphero and the other by an organizer of Scrib, a "coworking space" in downtown Boulder where a bunch of entrepreneurs and freelancers hang out and work on their companies in a friendly and productive environment. The second event, the CSUAC Welcome Back event, is held in DLC Collaboratory and will start 15 minutes or so after the ice cream social comes to an end.
